Health Ministry

Our parish health ministry stands as a beacon of support and compassion, addressing the diverse array of challenges that individuals in our community may face, including chronic illnesses, stress, substance abuse, grief, loneliness, and teen pregnancy.

Recognizing the vital role of the parish as a source of solace and guidance, our health ministry and parish nursing initiatives extend the healing ministry of Jesus, offering care and assistance to those in need. Through this ministry, we foster a stronger and healthier community, embodying the inclusive vision of the kingdom of God where individuals of all ages find comfort, resilience, and support.

Screenings

Blood pressure screenings take place on a monthly basis after weekend Masses.

Call a Parish Health Minister

Ways a parish health minister can help you:

Visit in your home, hospital, or nursing home to listen to your concerns, to pray with you, to answer questions you may have related to your health
Monitor your blood pressure
Help prepare questions for a doctor's visit
Help you to access community services such as home health care, Meals On Wheels
Offer educational programs (advance directives, living wills, heart health, etc.)
Offer support in times of crisis, chronic illness, or caregiver concerns
